In Tanzania, the climate is ideal for food production, resulting in abundant and flavorful crops. These crops are primarily cultivated by small-scale farmers. BoaVida has chosen to partner with these farmers and connect their produce to international markets. By doing so, we help them increase their household income. Many of these farmers are not only responsible for their immediate family, but also support extended family members. As the financial backbone for large households, their economic growth has a significant impact. This support creates opportunities not only for the present generation but also for future generations to come.

Today much of the food production is unsustainable for small-scale farmers, the planet and the ecosystem in general. Many farmers are not benefiting enough from their work and lack of knowledge, market link and access to financial resources keep them in negative poverty cycles.  

BoaVida is on a mission to change this and by partnering with local small-scale farmers in Tanzania, will be able to bring sustainably produced foods to the consumers and at the same time create important economic growth for people that really need it.
